Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and report changes in client functioning to your supervisor or designated person.

• Assist with household chores, including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.

• Help with shopping and attending appointments outside the home.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

• Complete appropriate records documenting service provision.

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care, including:

  • Ambulation

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

  • Exercise

  • Feeding

  • Haircare

  • Nailcare

  • Mouthcare

  • Positioning

  • Shaving

  • Toileting

  • Transfers

  • Medication reminding

  • Respiratory care

  • Monitoring reminders

• Ensure preventative skin care is maintained.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in home care or a related field is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to caregiving.

• Ability to handle various tasks and adapt to changing client needs.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
